Shopping Intelligence for Mobile Devices- Pricebaba Launches Today in Mumbai

PriceBaba, a shopping intelligence for mobile devices, today announced the launch of its services. Aligning years of retail experience, PriceBaba aims to provide intelligence about the best prices, deals and availability to help shoppers make an informed purchase decision. PriceBaba gives consumers a powerful tool to find the best bargains on mobile phones in their vicinity by listing the best bargain price for over 400 mobiles phones from 26 manufacturers. The site will first be targeted to shoppers in Mumbai.

Co-Founded by Annkur Agarwal, who at the age of 15 started selling stuff on Baazee and then went ahead to found OnlyGizmos, fueling the gadgets ecosystem in India, PriceBaba is a well-researched product. Annkur has been an retailer for close to 10 years, both online and offline which is an important factor a user might take into consideration while doing a credibility-check. Tirthesh Ganatra and Mehul Ved are the other two pillars of the lead team.

PriceBaba doesn't give you the lowest price

"The price advised by PriceBaba is the best bargain price. What that means is that you may bargain for that price when buying from a local retailer in the real world. Our focus is not to push deals from merchants offering the lowest price, rather we believe in giving our users the most relevant prices in their city. In process of doing that, more often than not, we should be able to help you shop at the lowest price in you locality and at the same time ensure that you have a good experience shopping based on our guidance." believes Annkur.

With its Mumbai launch, PriceBaba lists 110 locations from where consumers can buy, sell and exchange mobile devices. Each of these retailers has been rated on more than 13 varied parameters to help the consumers make a choice. PriceBaba also provides a mobile friendly price history tool that highlights the price fluctuations for a given mobile phone. "With the onset of e-commerce boom, consumers find it easy to search prices from online stores. However, most of them still end up buying mobile phones locally. We provide unique intelligence about the offline market to the consumers" says Annkur. "With over 230 million mobiles phones expected to be sold in India this year alone, we have a large market at hand" he adds.
