Getting your site or blog to pop up in an organic search on Google and Bing is not all that difficult. Your goal when optimising your site should be to create great backlinks, high-quality content and show relevant keywords that will make sure that you rank high on search results.

One thing to keep in mind is that getting your website to appear in search results for very competitive searches is difficult and a little time-consuming. Google Keyword Planner

Use Google Keyword Planner to determine search volumes for the keywords you have shortlisted to get an idea of their frequency of use and ranking. From there, keywords and phrases that have the highest search rankings should be your focus.

Google Trends

Google Trends helps determine historic data and search histories for your chosen keywords. The data regarding usage of your keyword is depicted in an interesting graphical format. This will help you map this information geographically and suggest other relevant keywords.

MozBar

MozBar is your best tool at getting instant information from any website you are visiting. SEO has a lot to do with knowing what works, and MozBar helps you do exactly that in one glance. MozBar is inbuilt into your header. As you click on it, it helps you generate instant reports of the website you are on. Google Search Console
