Burj Khalifa to be all lit up in tricolour ahead of Republic Day of India
The Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower, located in Dubai, is all set to be lit up beautifully in the colours of the Indian flag, in honour of the country's 68th Republic Day.
With the strong relationship that the two countries share, this move also marks the solidarity of the United Arab Emirates with the citizens of India. This magnificent LED show will happen thrice on both the 25th and the 26th, at 6:15 pm, 7:15 pm and 8:15 pm. The famous fountain performance also adds to the extreme grandeur of the event.
The official Burj Khalifa twitter handle tweeted, "Tonight we celebrate India’s 68th Republic Day with a spectacular LED illumination of the Indian National flag on #BurjKhalifa! #India."
The royal crown prince of Abu Dhabi, his highness Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is going to be the Chief Guest at the Republic Day parade in New Delhi. According to a report by The Financial Express, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that he and the crown prince shared their views on the latest advancements in West Asia and the Gulf.
Here's wishing every one of you a Happy Republic Day!
