[PhotoSparks] Challenge and enhance your creative self – how Ode to Art promotes art as business and pleasure

With offices in Singapore and Malaysia, Ode to Art is a platform that curates, promotes and sells contemporary art from across Asia and beyond. It actively promotes many promising international emerging artists from their various genres of visual arts. It also works with other art galleries and offers art consultancy services.

On my recent visit to Singapore, I had a chance to check out some outstanding creative works by the featured artists Soe Soe (Myanmar), Yu Nancheng (China), Adi Gunawan (Indonesia), Park Seung Mo (South Korea), Le Ba (Vietnam), Gao Xiao Wu (China), Gillie and Marc Shattner (Australia), Rainer Lagemann (Germany/US), and David Kracov (US).

Bronzes, layered multi-media, wire meshes, installation arts, paintings, photographs, and even fantasy creations show us how contemporary art can push our boundaries of what is possible, and even be a sustainable and profitable business. “Enhance your life with art,” says curator Kartika Usman; art enlightens you and can even be an investment asset class!
