Priyanka Chopra partners with Facebook for live event #SocialForGood

The event will have actor Priyanka Chopra discussing social media as a platform for doing good with well-known names from various industries.

Priyanka Chopra and Facebook have come together to do a four-hour live event on November 27, which will see the actor driving conversations with some of the biggest names in popular culture.

The carefully curated list comprises heavyweights from industries such as sports, business, music, sports, etc. The conversations will be around multiple topics including mental health, cyberbullying to women entrepreneurship. Priyanka has been using her Instagram to share the names of some of the speakers and panellists. The list includes names like Ayushmann Khurrana, Soundarya Rajnikanth, Ritabhari Chakraborty, Imtiaz Ali, Gurmehar Kaur, Falguni Nayar, Pooja Dhingra, among others.

In a post on Facebook and Instagram, the actor had shared the details about the event with this message- “Over the past few years, I've personally experienced the power of social media globally towards causes that I hold dear to my heart. SO Here I am...announcing my partnership with Facebook for #SocialForGood Live-Athon to bring awareness to causes that matter, celebrate some real-life stories and also inspire people to do their bit for the community.”

Priyanka is not just an actor and producer but also a UN Goodwill ambassador, and she recently turned into an investor as well. With this collaboration, Priyanka and Facebook want to send out a positive message and encourage and drive the idea of giving and kindness by sharing inspirational stories.
