CoinDCX launches new brand campaign
CoinDCX onboards Gautam Gambhir as a brand ambassador and the face of its 'Learn Karo.Crypto Karo.' campaign. The campaign is an initiative designed to empower Indian investors with essential knowledge before venturing into crypto investments, the company said in a statement.
The company believes that despite an investor community of over 160 million in India, many remain hesitant to consider investing in crypto due to a lack of understanding of the emerging asset class. With the new brand campaign, CoinDCX aims to break down these barriers.

3C IT Solutions & Telecoms India has appointed Hashyadeep Dave as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

RED.Health launches Salus EMS
RED.Health, a JCI-accredited emergency response company, launched Salus EMS, an end-to-end emergency medical services platform designed to improve how emergency care is delivered in India.
Salus EMS leverages state-of-the-art tech for real-time video consultations between emergency room physicians and paramedics.
"This ensures doctors can make well-informed, immediate decisions while the patient is en route to the hospital. The platform’s AI-powered features reduce human error, automatically log critical events, and generate real-time electronic patient care records (ePCRs). It also guarantees the highest levels of security, ensuring HIPAA and ISO 27001 compliance through encrypted, AWS-hosted communications," the company said.

NetApp India elevates Vasanthi Ramesh to Managing Director
Intelligent data infrastructure company NetApp elevated Vasanthi Ramesh to Managing Director of NetApp India.
In addition to her existing role as VP, Engineering at Unified Manageability Framework, she is set to take on a broader leadership role, overseeing NetApp’s strategic initiatives in the region and driving continued innovation and growth for the company, the company said.
As managing director, she will lead the company's India site operations focusing on various initiatives at the organisational level—including NetApp Excellerator and Academia Connect, and focus on enhancing NetApp’s engagement with GCC platforms and industry bodies such as NASSCOM to further bolster company's leadership and reputation in India, it added.
Gupshup appoints Trisnia Anchali Kardia as Country Head, Indonesia
Conversational AI Engagement company Gupshup has appointed Trisnia Anchali Kardia as its new country head in Indonesia.
She is set to focus on expanding the company's enterprise business in Indonesia and drive market leadership in conversational AI engagement, the company said in a statement.
Prior to joining Gupshup, Kardia worked with ecommerce analytics company Graas, Zomato Indonesia, etc, and has over a decade of deep expertise in business messaging.

FedEx, Invest India collaborate to elevate Indian craftsmanship
FedEx, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp, has partnered with Invest India to support the Indian government’s One District One Product (ODOP) initiative.
The collaboration aims to boost the growth of Indian small businesses by providing them with access to global markets, capacity building, and branding opportunities, the company said.
“FedEx was founded on the belief that a connected world is a better world...Through our collaboration with Invest India, we aim to address challenges faced by local producers, providing tailored solutions to simplify global logistics. Together, we are boosting exports and driving sustainable economic growth,” said Kami Viswanathan, President, FedEx, Middle East, India Subcontinent, and Africa (MEISA).
FedEx, through the collaboration, aims to leverage its global network and logistics expertise to empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to access international markets and streamline shipping processes. It also plans to integrate ODOP clusters into its SME Connect platform to promote knowledge sharing and practical training for small businesses.
The subsidiary also aims to enhance brand visibility and product quality for artisans by leading webinars, workshops, and on-ground events in association with Invest India, enabling SMEs to showcase their unique products from India’s diverse districts to international buyers.
InsuranceDekho strengthens leadership with new appointments
Insurtech company InsuranceDekho is solidifying its leadership with a mix of internal promotions and external talent appointments.
Navneet Bhatt joined the company as the Chief Business Officer, Vivek Aggarwal as Head of Finance (VP), and Aman Batra has been elevated to Chief Strategy Officer.
This development is part of its ongoing growth and innovation, and the company has made strategic appointments across key functions including business strategy, sales and analytics, the company said.
The company recently had a hiring expansion, and by tapping into both internal and external talent, InsuranceDekho aims to accelerate its growth and command leadership in the rapidly evolving insurtech space, it added.

IIT Madras partners with ISRO
IIT Madras has partnered with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to establish a Centre of Excellence for research in ‘Fluid and Thermal Sciences’.
ISRO will provide seed funding of Rs 1.84 crore towards establishing this centre, the press release read.
This centre is set to act as a nodal centre for the spacecraft and launch vehicle-related thermal management research activities of ISRO. Thermal problems regarding design, analysis and testing of various components could be performed by leveraging the expertise of IIT Madras faculty, it added.
"This Centre of Excellence will foster a unique industry-academia interface, allowing ISRO scientists and IIT Madras faculty and students to collaboratively advance research in critical areas of thermal science. By addressing complex thermal engineering challenges, we aim to contribute significantly to the nation’s space program and strengthen India’s self-reliance in space technologies," said Prof Arvind Pattamatta, Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Madras.
Commvault expands India operations
Commvault, a provider of cyber resilience and data protection solutions for the hybrid cloud, is set to expand India operations with the launch of an advanced, facility in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
The facility will be a key centre for research and development, focusing on offerings like Cloud Rewind and Cleanroom Recovery, the company said.
It is also set to serve as an innovation hub for engineering and technical talent, focusing on supporting regulatory compliance and AI advancements. The innovations will be utilised by customers across verticals including banking, financial services, healthcare, public services and manufacturing.
"The Coimbatore facility marks a major step in expanding Commvault’s global R&D footprint. Our goal is to harness the city’s outstanding talent to drive high-end cloud engineering capabilities, empowering our customers to be resilient against escalating and rampant cyberattacks, and rapidly rebuild, reconstruct, and recover when the inevitable happens," said Sarv Saravanan, Chief Customer Officer, Commvault.
Zomato and NSE India sign MoU
Zomato has partnered with NSE India to improve financial awareness among onboarded delivery partners, Co-founder Deepinder Goyal shared in a post on X.
As part of this collaboration, Zomato and NSE will be collaborating on conducting such events pan-India and educating 50,000+ Zomato on-boarded delivery partners over the next year, the company said in a statement.
"In our surveys, we've realised that more than 60% of delivery partners are unaware of basic financial instruments like FDs," said Goyal
The first educational workshop was held in Hyderabad on October 22 and saw participation from over 2,000 delivery partners.
"I hope these sessions act as a foundation for all our delivery partners to manage, save and grow their finances and assist them on their path to financial independence," added Goyal.
Additionally, Zomato had recently introduced and facilitated ITR filing for the delivery partners via its delivery mobile app through which more than 85,000 delivery partners filed their ITR for the FY 2023-24 and over Rs 12 crore worth of refunds were processed, the company said.
