Brinda Poornapragna

Brinda Poornapragna is an industry leader with over 28 years of extensive experience spanning technology, financial services, and the social sector. She has held leadership positions in renowned organisations including Capgemini, Hewlett Packard, ANZ, JP Morgan, and the Bank of Nova Scotia. In 2019, Brinda embarked on a transformative journey as a rural educator, spending several months teaching in remote Himalayan schools. Motivated by her time in the Himalayas, she transitioned from the corporate world to join eVidyaloka Trust as the chief executive officer in July 2019. Leveraging technology, the organisation delivers over one million child learning hours in seven Indian languages, facilitated by a network of volunteer teachers from cities globally. Poornapragna holds a postgraduate degree in computer science and is a certified coach and a positive psychology practitioner.
