NIMSME to conduct 5-day waste recycling programme from May 20-24
The five day training is priced at Rs 13,000 for participants who want to avail residential facilities. Those who do not require the residential facility can register for the programme by paying Rs 10,000.

The National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NIMSME) in Hyderabad has announced for a five day training programme on waste recycling in the MSME sector. The programme will run from May 20 to 24, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
A document on the initiative released by NIMSME said that the programme is targeting industrial representatives, local body representatives, recycling industries executives, NGOs, R&D cells, universities/educational institutions, municipal authorities, and other stakeholders.
According to the NIMSME document, the objective is to ‘create awareness and encourage people’s participation through interactive sessions and avail the benefits of emerging trends in recycling of wastes.’
It aims to sensitise stakeholders on various waste management issues such as source segregation, collection, storage, transportation, processing, disposal of hazardous waste, and recycling processes. NIMSME faculty, academicians from universities, and expert resources will be conducting the programme.
The five day training is priced at Rs 13,000 for participants who want to avail residential facilities. This includes course materials, course kit, twin-sharing accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks during the five days.
Those who do not require the residential facility can register for the programme by paying Rs 10,000.
The programme comes six months after Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises of India (FSME), an apex body of MSMEs, entered into an agreement with NIMSME for training and coaching programmes and increasing assistance to MSME entrepreneurs.
Through partnership, the organisations said they’d cooperate for promoting the MSME sector and upgrading the performance of MSME units.
“With this MoU, both the partners will offer training with constructive inputs to the existing entrepreneurs, executives, and workers of the existing MSMEs,” APK Reddy, President, FSME India, had said.
NIMSME, started in 1962, seeks to provide pro-business environments to lead MSMEs towards success and prosperity. It aims to assist the government in formulating policies for MSMEs and to help the practicing and potential entrepreneurs through a host of services such as training, research, consultancy, information, education, and more.
