With a community of 1.83 million subscribers on YouTube and 493,000 followers on Instagram, Anshu Bisht is a gaming content creator.

Also known as GamerFleet, Anshu said his interest in gaming started during 8th-9th grade. However, because of a lack of equipment, he couldn’t play games on his old computer.

His gaming journey properly began during his college days when he bought a PC from the money he saved by tutoring students.

In fact, his YouTube journey started after Jio made the internet accessible to all. He drew inspiration from various domestic and global creators and was fascinated by their work.

“I found it very fascinating to see these people playing games and lakhs of people watching their content, which made me realise I wanted to do that too,” he said.

Anshu operates two YouTube channels — Anshu Bisht and GamerFleet. While he posts almost regularly on his primary streaming channel GamerFleet, he posts gaming videos only on his other channel.

Anshul shared he does not think ahead in the future but records and puts out content as and when he gets ideas. He particularly chooses his games according to the current trends and what the public likes to watch.

When it comes to differentiating content, Anshu speaks in an interesting and funny way to keep his audience engaged. Besides, he tries to keep his posts’ thumbnails different from the others. “In the end, it all comes down to your personality,” he said.

Commenting on content monetisation, he explained on platforms like YouTube, the formula is quite simple — the more the views, the more the money.

He added that influencers need to be very careful while choosing brands. In fact, creator agencies also play an important role in this regard.

This aspect of brand monetisation has provided a good opportunity for content creators to earn a living. “A lot of creators might not have enough reach to earn revenue. In such cases, brands play a very important role,” he added.

During the rapid-fire round, Anshu talked about his favourite gaming content creators and revealed several interesting facts about himself.
